At CURVENY earlier this month, we had the opportunity to meet with Rachel Littlejohn of Lascivious. In the booth, there was a gorgeous sampling of the brand’s new SS13 collection of which Rachel has some os some images to share with our readers.

“The Lascivious collection for SS13 has been inspired by elements of ‘90s fashions- with jersey cropped tees, wide band bra’s and cracked leather effect fabric. There is a strong focus on colour which marks a new development for the brand; with hot corals, vibrant turquoises and sunny yellows borrowed from warmer climates competing in a riot of brights,” said the company. “New shapes have been inspired by basket weaving techniques and geometric patterns seen in nature, with triangles particularly appearing throughout; bringing cohesion to a bold and exciting new range.”

Another treat at the Lascivious booth were the beautifully designed look books and line sheets and Rachel was great to talk to about the current collection and the history of the brand.

The UK-based brand was founded in 2004 by Creative Director Chloe Hamblen, a 2000 graduate of De Montfort University’s Contour Fashion course at , during which time she gained a wealth of experience – working for prestigious designers such as the late Alexander McQueen, through to luxury retail for brands La Perla and Myla.

On graduating with a 1st Class Hons she took up a technical position with Dutch modernist designer Marlies Dekkers in Rotterdam, honing her skills before returning home in 2004 to found Lascivious. Chloe is a passionate designer dedicated to the brands growth and integrity. As creative and managing director she oversees all aspects of the business and continues to find new and exciting ways to grow and develop the brand.

Since then, the brand can be found in stores such as Selfridges, Harrods, Coco De Mer and high-end luxury lingerie, fashion and concept stores all over the world.
