Lingerie Fashion Week Returns for FW14

“FW14 marks season three of Lingerie Fashion Week, past seasons seeing shows from brands emerging to established…covered by such prestigious media outlets as WWD, The Wall Street Journal, ABC News, NBC News, CNBC, The Huffington Post and many more” -Lauren Rich.

LingerieFW, the first Fashion Week exclusively created for the intimate apparel industry, is returning for the Fall/Winter 2014 season in New York. A series of runway shows, presentations, installations and special exhibitions will take place February 20th, 21st and 22nd, optimally timed following New York Fashion Week and just before the intimate apparel tradeshows.

Announcing a venue change, Lingerie Fashion Week is thrilled to call Canoe Studios home, housing 20,000+ square feet of sprawling studio space with wraparound views of the Hudson River in the prestigious 601 West 26th Street. Registration now open to brands and sponsors, Official Schedule to be announced shortly following the New Year.

Ushering in more space, the new venue offers double the size of previous seasons. Runway Shows and Presentations are housed in separate studios, with spacious backstage areas dedicated to each. A Sponsor Lounge offers seamless connection between the two for guests, while a separate Press Lounge offers a quiet space for editors, writers, reporters & bloggers to plug-in and recharge in between shows.

Exciting developments are in store for FW14, including a number of art exhibitions and pop-up installations further merging the creative, fashion and lingerie communities. In addition to the core options of showing via an individual Runway Show or Presentation, the FW14 season also offers a group Made in NY Presentation for up to four (New York manufactured) designers, as well as a “Ones to Watch” Special Exhibition specifically dedicated to new & emerging brands. FW14 also welcomes back The Temple: a Paul Mitchell Academy as Official Beauty Partner, providing Hair & Makeup services complimentary for all showcasing brands.
