Sonata Lingerie Debuts New, User-Friendly Website
Sonata Lingerie has launched a new, user-friendly website. Catherine Takhtay of Sonata teamed with Daniel Kraus of Directory Sexy to build a website that offers the company complete control and makes online shopping easy for customers. “We can input and upload new collections ourselves, change and update all content,” says Takhtay. “And the shop is just so much more accessible for customers. Before, many people found our site confusing and hard to use.”
Takhtay hopes the streamlined shopping process will attract more customers to her website. “You can shop by your size, by color or item type,” she says. “We have an overview home page for the shop so you can see every single set that we have for sale, or you can look through each collection.”
Other updates include a new blog and a bridal section that features all of Sonata’s best-selling bridal styles. Customers also have the ability to create an account and sign up to receive the company’s e-newsletter.
Takhtay, who is based in the UK, worked with Kraus over e-mail on the design of the new site. “Daniel is extremely patient, profession and fun to work with,” she says. “He helped us way beyond his remit, in fact, and has set us off in the right direction with all manners of useful things.”
