36 days.

That’s the number of days adrinADietra Luxury Lingerie founder Adrina Graham and her team have to raise $4,200 on the crowdfunding site, Indiegogo. The freshly launched campaign aims to help adrinADietra launch by providing funding for production and buyer and press outreach.

“adrinADietra is a budding luxury lingerie brand that would love to offer items that are typically not available in a multitude of sizes in high end intimate apparel, but are still sexy enough to fit seamlessly in each core and seasonal collection,” says Adrina. “Such items will include, mastectomy bras, maternity options, shapewear, and hard-to-find sizes such as lower bands and higher cups.”

The brand also wants to offer other notable services such as made-to-measure garments and alterations services on lingerie — something the designer notes is not commonly found in the US today.

Donations collected during the Indiegogo campaign are earmarked by the designer to go into several key areas including production and marketing.

On the brand’s Indiegogo page, Adrina further itemizes how money will spent: $1,500 worth of fabric and trims; $1,500 for factory production; $500 for labels, tags and other packaging; $500 for marketing materials including business cards and a further $200 for miscellaneous items.

adrinADietra is one of many lingerie brands leveraging crowdfunding to help build their businesses. Asked why she chose the crowd funding route, Adrina says, “As a sales associate with two children, it is quite difficult to raise needed funds to gain momentum. This initial fund will help establish the most basic, yet still crucial foundations for the company.”
