Azaleas Pegboard Creativity
“Lingerie merchandising is such an integral part of selling.” – Rebecca Lee, Azaleas.

Pegboards. The word evokes images of workshops, hammers, screwdrivers, and unfinished home projects. However, at Azaleas Lingerie Boutique, pegboards are elevated into creative canvases.
Each week, the Azaleas team updates their drywall pegboards with intimate apparel, beautiful accessories and other whimsical seasonal touches. The results are visual treats that entice potential customers walking by their boutiques.
“Lingerie merchandising is such an integral part of selling. A lingerie piece has such a small imprint, so its super important that all the details get to be seen,” said Azaleas’ general manager and assistant buyer, Rebecca Lee. “The pegboard is also something that is seen 24/7 at both locations, so making sure they look fresh and memorable helps us stand out.“
In the photo above, we see Azalea’s creativity in play at their West Side location with lingerie (seen left to right) from Eberjey, Fleur du Mal, Gold Hawk, Lonely Lingerie, and Clo Intimo hanging from wooden pegs on the 12’ x 5’ pegboard.
The colors flow naturally from gray to blue and the bra and panty sets gracefully flank the Gold Hawk slip dress. Below the lingerie sets are two wooden boards with beautiful household elements completing the composition.
Love what you see? We encourage our readers to make a trip to see Azaleas in person to experience this boutique’s creativity and collection of intimates.
