Bezi Bra Discs – The New Reusable Nipple Covers

Bezi Bra Discs

“[Bezi Bra Discs] work under any type of bra — wired, bandeau or bralette. Put the bra on first, then center the disc between your breast and bra so that it sits over the nipple.”

Have you ever wistfully put a beautiful dress back because your nipples were clearly visible through the fabric? Or had to change your bra before leaving for work because the first one showed a lot more than you’d intended under your blouse?

For anyone who’s dreamed of a simple solution to those pesky “headlights” — one that doesn’t involve molded bras or disposable, stick-on covers–allow me to be the bearer of good news. There is just such a product!

Bezi Bra Discs founder and inventorm, Anne Zuckerman

“I saw a product and believed that I could do better.” — Anne Zuckerman.

Bezi Bra Discs is the brainchild of Anne Zuckerman. “I saw a product and believed that I could do better”, she says, describing how she was inspired to design this unique nipple cover while working as a bra fitter at Edith’s Inc. in Princeton, New Jersey.

The boutique was originally founded by her mother Edith, a lingerie and corset designer from Europe, and later taken over by Anne herself. After her mother passed away, the store was closed but Anne remained in the lingerie industry via the launch of Bezi Bra Discs.

“I happened to meet an industrial design engineer,” Anne recalls, “I took my inheritance and decided that I had an opportunity, and jumped on it”.

A Better Alternative

Bezi Bra Discs

Bezi Bra Discs are made in New Jersey, come in a single size and are available in two colors, blush and mocha.

Currently, the market for nipple covers is dominated by two common styles. Bandaid-like fabric ones that are single-use, and bra inserts that are made from silicone with an adhesive backing. The latter will eventually lose their ‘stick’, just like those strapless and backless silicone bras do.

But Bezi Bra Discs are neither single-use nor limited-use. “Most people lose them before they wear out”, Anne told me, “They are totally reusable”. That’s because they’re made from a latex-free resin which is highly durable. It’s arguably a better choice for the eco-conscious shopper, not to mention your wallet in the long term too.

Worried about them slipping and sliding about inside your bra? Don’t be. They will still stay in place! The resin naturally adheres to the skin when warmed up by your body heat. Easy to put on, and easy to remove. What’s more, they are easy to care for, too. The resin is waterproof so just give them a rinse with hand soap and water, and then dry off with a towel.

Although they stick, Bezi Bra Discs should be worn with a bra. They’ll work under any type—wired, bandeau, bralette etc. Put the bra on first, then center the disc between your breast and bra so that it sits over the nipple. The bra will help to hold it in place until the resin has warmed up.
