Owned by Narkonteks, Turkey’s largest manufacturer of luxury underwear, loungewear, activewear and swimwear for the family, Blackspade has built a very successful business in Europe. Blackspade USA has already hit the ground running. Following a very successful soft launch in 2014 at the US Curve shows, the brand has now opened a warehouse in Garfield, NJ and hired a team of seasoned executives. Mona Goldberg, former owner of the very successful women’s retail store Mona’s…Wear Else!, is Vice President of Sales and Merchandising for Blackspade.

Jeff Danzer, formerly the brand architect behind 2(x)ist underwear and most recently responsible for building and repositioning Terramar Baselayer in the outdoor and snow sports markets, is Vice President Sales and Marketing. Alex Goldberg is Director of Marketing. The company recently signed Vincent DePaul to handle celebrity outreach. Blackspade will be showing at both Curve shows as well as the SIA (Snowsports Industry Association) shows in Denver.

Narkonteks, a vertical underwear manufacturer based in Izmir, Turkey, started Blackspade in 2007. The brand is registered worldwide and is available in over 20 Countries. The brand will launch its luxury sportswear line in Spring 2016 and will be a total lifestyle brand.
