Bordelle Bridal Collection
“The bridal ranges blend delicate couture lace with customized satin elastic bands for a feminine and timeless alternative…”
With diversity in mind, luxury S&M de luxe lingerie and bodywear label Bordelle combines romantic themes with a touch of humor for its debut bridal collection. Consisting of three ranges – True Romantic, Something Blue, and Bondage Bride – Bordelle’s Bridal collection offers brides and brides-to-be, a beautifully sexy and edgy mix of accessories, dresses/girdles, bras, briefs, suspenders and thongs.
The UK-based company has been known for firing up the static intimate apparel industry and this entry into bridal helps cement that reputation even further. The bridal ranges blend delicate couture lace with customized satin elastic bands for a feminine and timeless alternative to what the company describes as an abundance of dull conservative styles currently dominating the bridal market.
The collection offers some of the same styles such as the Angela dress within all three groups, but with a slightly different twist depending on the range. The Bondage Angela dress, for example, with its delicately and symmetrically placed 18k gold plated oversize rings has more of a S&M de luxe feel while the same dress in True Romantic inspires slightly less naughty thoughts. The blue, satin double bow on all of the items, including accessories, within the Something Blue range are just lovely.
Bordelle Bridal in the Media
The new bridal range already has its own fan following and piqued the interests of celebrities and stylists in the media world as well.
“With a vast celebrity and media following including the likes of Madonna and Lady Gaga, it was no wonder internationally acclaimed stylist Sascha Lilic called upon Bordelle for GQ’s ‘Woman of the Year’ shoot with songstress Lana Del Rey. Wanting to toughen up Del Rey’s ‘girly’ image the intimate but elegant editorial portrays a dominant vixen by teaming the feminine Confetti Lace Angela dress with an oversized, white tuxedo for a RTW finish,” noted the company. “Falling under the title of ‘True Romance’ the dress is beautifully hand crafted in the labels West London atelier by combining a mix of French Chantilly lace with cream elastic panels to structure the silhouette and add a touch of vintage glamour.”
It’s a gorgeous bridal collection and we’ve included some photos from the collection as well for our readers. The full collection is exclusively available on Bordelle’s online shop with limited styles at select International department stores including Journelle – New York, Selfridges – London, TSUM – Moscow and Lane Crawford – Hong Kong.
