Bracli, the Original Pearl Thong
“Bracli offers a wide range of glamorous lingerie pieces made of lavish material and meant to reveal an audacious femininity.”
Like all artists, Luis Álvarez wanted to stimulate his audience’s imagination. However, his medium of luxurious pearls and French lace set him apart from all other designers.
His creation, the Bracli original Pearl Thong immediately caught lingerie fanatics’ attention in 1996 and achieved his goal of getting them to think, to imagine.
“If I slipped on that thong, how exactly would those pearls feel like against my skin?”
“How will my partner react?”
Those questions, sparks of emotion and more bubble up to surface even to this day with the brand’s new styles and glamorous collections.
A New Category
The success of the Pearl thong has allowed the Spanish company to expand and forge ahead in a society where erotic lingerie is not as taboo as it used to be. “There wasn’t any luxury erotic product before Bracli,” says Marina Álvarez. “Bracli was the first product set between lingerie and eroticism, the first one that could be sold both at traditional lingerie boutiques. (La Petite Coquette in New York, NY was the first one in trusting in us!) and sex shops.”
Álvarez calls this new boutique concept: luxury erotic. “This concept is seen nowadays all over the world,” she says. “Shops that sell quality high-end products are running away from vulgarity.”
Bracli offers a wide range of glamorous lingerie pieces made of lavish material and meant to reveal an audacious femininity. The combination of jewelry, lingerie and pleasure undoubtedly sets Bracli apart from other designer brands.
In fact, the original design was protected by an International Invention Patent in 1996. Even after all these years, the Pearl thong still intrigues. Whether it is a gift to oneself or to surprise a partner, Bracli lingerie doesn’t go unnoticed. The Pearl Thong has notably been featured in popular TV shows such as Sex and the City and Grey’s Anatomy.
Fashion Forward Design
“The Vienna and Kyoto Collections were born in order to raise the pearl thong to the most exquisite materials and designs,”
While Bracli garments offer the possibility of intimate stimulation of the women body, creating an overall pleasurable experience is still the company’s objective with its newest lingerie ranges. Recent collections, like the Kyoto and Vienna, are falling into a more fashion-forward category.
“The designs are much more elaborate and we use really high-end materials,” says Marina. “The result is that we have created two collections that are sophisticated and exclusive, more modern and classy.”
“Everything is different when a woman wears a Bracli in secret.” – Marina Álvarez.
A team of specialized designers works on creating each garment, leaving Luis to focus on the design of the pearls.
“The Vienna and Kyoto Collections were born in order to raise the pearl thong to the most exquisite materials and designs,” adds Marina.
Indeed, the Kyoto collection, released in 2017, is right on the halter top and strappy bralette trend. The use of Leavers lace and velvet accents really complements the luxury look of the Kyoto range. Strategically placed lace appliqués and geometrical cut-outs create a complex but provocative collection.
These sophisticated pieces are definitely not meant to stay in the drawer waiting for bedtime. The Kyoto bra features gold-plated hardware and elegant pearls sitting almost like a pendant under the neck. The eyelash-detail surrounding the cleavage looks like the perfect fashion accessory to elevate a simple top or a sheer blouse. This collection also includes a halter top with a pearl neckline.
“The garments feature embroidered tulle, pure silk and rose gold components — a pleasure to the touch and a treasure for the eyes.”
Bracli’s newest release is the Vienna Collection. This collection is based on Bracli’s G-Spot stimulation concept, which aims to stimulate both the external and internal part of the woman genital. Vienna is the brand’s most opulent collection so far. The garments feature embroidered tulle, pure silk and rose gold components — a pleasure to the touch and a treasure for the eyes.
Although this collection launches for Christmas season, it is reminiscent of hot Mediterranean holidays. The floral pattern of the embroidery almost shines when hit by the light and subtly reveals the beauty of its owner.
For the Vienna body, Bracli played with the transparency of the mesh and the silk waistband to accentuate the body’s curves. There is a certain attention to detail in these pieces. The scalloped edges of the Vienna crossed bra and coordinates are simply exquisite. The leg harness adds a playful and versatile touch to this collection.
Vienna show-stopping pieces embrace a classic elegance mingled with a strong seduction power. Worn during the day, they also provide a lot of styling possibilities. These flattering silhouettes can surely be enjoyed alone or with a partner as Bracli’s neat designs are meant for a boost of confidence and an expressed sensuality.
Perhaps the most important notion of this product category is its versatility. Unlike most erotic products, the entire range of styles can fit easily into everyday life.
“Whether routine or a special occasion,” says Marina. “You can wear it from taking a walk through the streets, going shopping, driving, and working, to a romantic dinner or the celebration for your anniversary of course. Everything is different when a woman wears a Bracli in secret.”
