Bustoire Holiday Gift Guide
As we approach the Holidays, there’s something important to keep in mind: it’s not too late to find that perfect gift for your loved one.
And I think you’ll agree from one lingerie fanatic to another, that luxurious intimates should be high on your gift list. So we’re thrilled to have Bustoire founder, Joyce Labinjo walk us through the best way of finding and gifting one of her pieces this season.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Joyce’s brand, Bustoire is a luxurious nightwear brand featuring built in bust support for full-busted women from DD to KK cup. Joyce launched earlier this year with a selection of chemises, babydolls and a nightdress.
“Most of our garments are made of lace, silk and chiffon. The silk is so wispy [and] soft against the skin.” said Joyce of her collection in a recent interview with TLJ’s Michelle Broomes.
So let’s get started with what’s arguably one of the toughest parts of buying intimates for someone else – sizing.
Finding Your Partner’s (Correct) Size

If you have permission, start by taking a look at your partner’s lingerie wardrobe.
“Check the sizes in her underwear drawer or have a sneak peek when you next unhook her bra,” suggests Joyce. “Bustoire sizes are in cup sizes. Each size covers a range of bust sizes.”
For example, a 32-34 DD – FF would fit women who have the following bra sizes (32DD, 32E, 32F, 32FF 34DD, 34E, 34F, 34FF). Bustoire has an excellent fit guide on their site as well as an international size guide for fast conversions.
As you find out the information you need, make sure you write it down on a sheet of paper or on your smart phone. Stash the details in your wallet or make sure you save the document. You’ll want it handy as you shop Bustoire’s websites. (You can also head over to DiGuardo Boutique during the brand’s Pop Up Event this month!)
If all else fails, you can always ask your partner for her sizing. It’s true, you’ll have tipped your hat, but at least you’re much closer to their correct sizes.
Consider Your Partner’s Tastes
Once you have your partner’s size, it’s important to think about their aesthetics and how they may see themselves. To make things easy, we’ve broken down some general ideas into three categories: Romantic, Minimalist and Femme Fatale.
Romantic – the Michelle
“The flattering sweetheart neckline accentuates the décolletage and is complimented with delicate feminine bows.” said Joyce.
Minimalist – Angela Long Sleeve Nightdress
Those with Minimalist leanings, should love the Bustoire Angela Long sleeve Nightdress. This piece is made with a sleek micro modal fabric that gives it a silky feel. The lace has been expertly appliqued and embellishes the sleeve edges and the hem.
“The classic styling, immaculate lace and light as air texture makes the nightdress incredibly chic and comfortable.” said Joyce.
Femme Fatale – Sarah Chemise
Finally, for the Femme Fatale, the flirtatious Sarah chemise should be a welcome gift. This style comes in classic black and features intricate lace detailing and sheer panels. Joyce describes the Sarah as a timeless and a pleasure to own and wear. This style comes in black and black and forest green.
Once you have the style (or styles) you want, keep in mind some seasonal deadlines this year. Joyce recommends placing orders by the 17th Dec to receive their garments before Christmas day. US and rest of the world should order by the 10th Dec to receive orders in time for Christmas.
Putting It All Together
Once the package arrives, consider pairing the gift with a selection of your partner’s favorite perfume, scented candles or wine. Keep in mind, Bustoire pieces come in the brand’s signature box in white with gold engraving and accented with a gold statement bow. You may not need to dress it up with wrapping paper, but it’s up to you.
