Chantelle Parisian 4-part Plunge Bra
“The major benefits of the 4-part bra come from the fact that it’s a hybrid between a traditional three part cup (which provides support and centering of the bust) and a demi with the added vertical seam (which provides uplift).” – Nicole Kivitz, Chantelle.

Understated elegance. Sophisticated simplicity. As charming as its geographical eponym. These are just some of the ways to describe the delightful Parisian 4-part plunge bra by iconic French lingerie brand Chantelle. We at TLJ thinks it’s a great summer find particularly for the fuller busted woman as it’s available up to cup size H and band size 42.
Although there are many beautiful design features to the Parisian bra, including an aquatic blue colourway that heralds the summer, the talking point is clearly the four section cup with cleverly placed seaming intended to create a sculpting sling effect at the side of the bustline. This side support effect is perfect for fuller busts as it exerts a measure of control over the breasts that women can find more shaping and consequently more visually appealing and figure flattering.
“The major benefits of the 4-part bra come from the fact that it’s a hybrid between a traditional three part cup (which provides support and centering of the bust) and a demi with the added vertical seam (which provides uplift),” says Nicole Kivitz, Digital Marketing and PR Associate at Chantelle Lingerie. “We’ve also added the benefit of a plunge neckline to our Parisian four part for added versatility in a woman’s wardrobe.”
And this bra is certainly useful. Minimalist decor, low décolletage and very wearable colours of Black, Suede and Aqua, all add to the utility of the Parisian 4-part plunge, making it an ideal year round piece for the discerning woman, who needs beautiful but no-nonsense staples for her wardrobe.
Brand rep Nicole Kivitz explains that the Chantelle Parisian plunge bra is aimed specifically at “a woman who doesn’t want to compromise between support, containment and style” – three pillars upon which the perfect bra is built. And the response from brand fans has reflected the successful, sound design concepts and techniques that underpin the Parisian 4-part plunge which has earned the bra a mention earlier this year in the acclaimed Oprah Magazine.
“We have had great feedback [about the Parisian bra],” says Nicole Kivitz from Chantelle. “They [consumers] are amazed by how light and comfortable it feels on the body while at the same time also being extremely supportive.”
Chantelle has already had success with designing and retailing a 4-part cup. Last year the brand gave us the stunning Revele Moi 4-part bra which is quite similar to the Parisian plunge but with a higher neckline for even more coverage and support as well as lovely lace embellishment for a luxe finish.
