Campaign photos were shot by esteemed and unconventional British photographer Rankin, famous for working with brand moguls the likes of Nike, Swatch and Dove. Rankin’s visuals of the brand are unapologetically stunning and infused with effortless provocation, concepts that are deep-seated in the essence of the Coco de Mer name.

AW15 sees the introduction of the brand’s most sumptuous and evocative collection since its recent bold rebranding, with bondage being a highlighted theme for the season. Created from a successful merger of British silks and French laces, the collections are conjured up from elements of folklore, mythology and fantasy, bearing names such as Godiva, Aphrodite, Seraphine, Sylph, Persephone and Aveta – each with its own sense of romanticism and allure. Seraphine will be continuity for the brand. Collections are available from the Coco de Mer flagship store in London hotspot Covent Garden as well as on the brand’s website.

Speaking of the direction that the Coco de Mer brand has taken since taking the reins, Lucy Litwack, who has also overseen the development of the first underwear range by renowned footballer David Beckham, informed, “This is the most exciting year for Coco de Mer with the bold reinvention of the world’s most exclusive erotica brand. We kicked it off with X, a compelling new film campaign between TBWA & Rankin which aimed to engage people in a new, liberated conversation around desire. Now we have the third phase – the most provocative and dramatic collection of lingerie we have ever created, beautifully photographed by Rankin.
