Here comes The Bridal Collection from plus size lingerie specialist Curvy Couture. The brand is launching a splendid range of bridal intimates for SS18 as part of its quest to provide foundation garments for just about every event and occasion in the life of the curvy customer.
Having successfully tackled sporting apparel earlier this year, Curvy Couture is determined to deepen its relationship with the plus size market through the debut of a bridal collection – letting the curvy girl know that she has one less thing to worry about when preparing for that blissful event – her wedding day.
And what could be better for brand patrons than to feel confident that such a significant milestone in their lives, such as their nuptials, has been taken into account by the Curvy Couture name.
“Curvy Couture is intended to be an intimate apparel lifestyle brand for every curvy girl’s occasion,” says Evora Russell, Curvy Couture’s VP of Marketing & Sales. “We had been hearing about the demand in the curvy community for beautiful bridal occasion intimates and considering the tremendous success of our award winning strapless, it seemed to be the natural next step.”

The Bridal Collection SS18 from Curvy Couture presents as three equally elegant sections: Strapless, which consists of the Smooth Strapless Bra in white that can be employed as a multiway; Gorgeous Crochet Lace collection comprising the adorable Crochet Lace Underwire bralette with matching Crotchet Lace Boyshort; and the largest sector of the collection, Glistening Embroidery which encompasses the Glistening Embroidery Corset, Glistening Embroidery Scoop Neck bra, Glistening Sheer Embroidered Underwire, Glistening Embroidery Push Up bra and matching accessories, namely Glistening Embroidery Hipster, Glistening Embroidery Tanga and the all essential Glistening Embroidery Garter.
Like many established Curvy Couture lingerie pieces, The Bridal Collection is available up to H cup and band sizes run from 34 up to 46. Dress sized pieces in the collection range from medium to 3XL.
Remaining true to its renowned foundation techniques, Curvy Couture has built a fraction of The Bridal Collection as a spin-off of tried and tested pieces of its classic lingerie line-up. So brand fans can remain confident that they are still getting the best that the brand has to offer.
“We are definitely maintaining the integrity of some of our best-selling frames in this collection,” says Evora Russell. “For example, our strapless sensation bra that is currently in lace will now be offered in smooth in three colors for bridal. Our Glistening Embroidery Push-Up style mirrors our best-selling Tulip push-up frame as well, so we feel very comfortable that these two styles will be a natural home run.”
“We are introducing two new frames with the Glistening Sheer unlined underwire and the Crochet Lace Underwire bralette,” says the brand’s VP of Marketing & Sales, Evora Russell. “We feel that these frames will serve different purposes around the entire bridal occasion, which can be fun and flirty, comfortable, sexy or just something that looks and feels bridal for those brides that are looking to celebrate the entire experience.”
And indeed, the brand’s intention is to have The Bridal Collection as the mainstay foundation choice around the big day. To this end the collection is created to be one that is both seriously supportive and yet fun, fashionable and versatile.

Although the entire bridal collection is sure to be a shoo-in, a frontrunner has been punted by the brand.
“We believe that the strapless bra is going to be the biggest winner in this collection,” says the brand’s Evora. “Our customer has been asking for a smooth strapless for a very long time and we are happy to deliver this in both bridal and the classic foundations collection.”
Inside the Curvy Couture camp, the team is quite rightfully pleased with the preview comments that the collection has received so far and they are looking forward to seeing how the new range performs in the market.
“We feel really good about how the collection has turned out. It certainly meets our intention,” reveals VP of Marketing & Sales, Evora Russell. “And we are very excited to see how the customers respond.”
