Curvy Kate extending range from D to K cups
Curvy Kate is extending their range of plus size bras from D to K cups for Autumn/Winter 2011.
D cups were introduced to continuity styles for Spring/Summer 2011 and due to demand from retailers and distributors the brand has extended this through the full Curvy Kate collection for Autumn/Winter 2011.
According to the company, the brand has doubled sales and their retailer count has grown to 500 stores worldwide, with distributors now in twelve countries in their second year of trade.
“Known for the gorgeous fashionable look and unbeatable fit, the brand has taken time to develop new sizes from D to K cups that still offer the support a heavier bust requires,” said the company.
Steve Hudson, Managing Director explains why they have extended their sizes. “At Curvy Kate we strive to create a product that offers the best support, the best quality and a great look to suit our fashion conscious customer. We’re passionate about making women of all shapes and sizes feel good in lingerie, so it was important for us to expand our ranges to appeal to a wider audience.”
The new Autumn/Winter 2011 Curvy Kate collection continues with a fun, bright range of colors. The Showgirl collection takes inspiration from precious jewels and fine fabrics, with rich emerald satins and golden tones in the popular plunge style.
The collection also sees the addition of, “a basics bra, a new decadent embroidered range and the Lottie bra which features on the front cover. This piece was designed by ‘Create a Curvy Kate’ winner from De Montfort University, Sarah Greenwood,” noted the company.
