Curvy Kate sets sights on the US Market
With distribution in over 10 countries worldwide, Curvy Kate has set their sights on the American market and will be showcasing their range of D to K cup lingerie and Swimwear at the Curve show in New York this August.
The company said that after a fantastic response from the UK market in it’s first three years and an overwhelming reaction worldwide, Curvy Kate are looking for retailers in America who are demanding G plus cup sizes and a larger range of back sizes. With the growth of the average bust size across America, Curvy Kate are particularly concentrating on offering styles and sizes that are pretty and glamorous but still fitted to support the larger bust.
Steve Hudson, Managing Director at Curvy Kate talks about the move into the US. ‘The demand for D plus pretty bras is continuing to grow and we have inquiries from retailers all over the world about where they can buy Curvy Kate. The brand is already selling well in Canada and North America so it was only a matter time before we grew our distribution across America.’
“We’ve found that our social media sites have really raised awareness too, as customers are sharing their experiences about bra shopping globally. Also since the Star in a Bra competition was launched on facebook our fan base has grown by 714%, with the third biggest audience being the American market,” added Hudson.
Curvy Kate offers D plus lingerie for the fuller bust with back sizes from a 28 – 44. The collection boasts pretty everyday balcony bras and glamorous plunge styles not normally seen in the larger cup sizes. Curvy Kate has added additional JJ and K cups to their collection.
