Dream & Drive Lingerie Golden Flowers Collection
“Golden Flowers became a representation of love – how we feel lucky to know someone, like they are a gift to us.” – Carly Morrison, Dream & Drive Lingerie.
Created in 2015 by designer Carly Morrison, Dream & Drive Lingerie is an amalgamation of the innocence and softness of femininity with its own provocative and daring alter-ego, a concept that aptly infuses the latest collection, Golden Flowers.
Carly first started making lingerie mainly for her own pleasure and as respite from the disappointment of not always finding what she needed from the lingerie market – comfort and adequate sizing fused with style and design elements that spoke of an alternative sense of edginess.

But realizing that her knack for designing and making lingerie was something worth pursuing on a grander scale, she turned her creative passion into an ethically sourced brand that she could share with other like-minded women through ready made designs and bespoke creations.

With sizes ranging from XS to XXXL and above if needed, Dream & Drive aims to be an inclusive brand, inspiring women of varied sizes and shapes to feel confident about their unique bodies.
Carly’s gift for merging stern and feminine design features with playful dark and light undertones is represented in Golden Flowers – a collection underpinned by the sentiment of gift giving.
X’s and bows

“I was inspired by the shape of flowers, X’s and bows – all gestures one would associate with giving gifts,” Carly explains. “I focused on the shapes of what these gestures of gifts would be, as you can see in the X of the Bow Me panties and a centred bow like a wrapped present. Golden Flowers became a representation of love – how we feel lucky to know someone, like they are a gift to us.”
Golden Flowers is a gorgeous, flirty collection of wearable shapes presented in neutral colours and done to a highly sexy standard. Floral lace detailing gives a nod to the softer side of a woman but contrary to the collection’s romantic façade, that’s also played out in girly golden mesh and dainty bows, Golden Flowers is buffered by strong visual techniques that obtain those edgy, outside-of-the-box characteristics that Carly also desires in lingerie. Cleverly contoured dark satin caging, over bust strap detail, and a simple but stirring garter belt easily translate the collection into the realms of fantasy – perfect for a woman’s alter ego.

The collection branches into several desirable looks:Bow Me Bralette set; Evolve Bralette with peplum briefs; Like A Dream underwire with tap pants; the sassy quarter cup bra known as Outline with accompanying briefs and garter belt; In Bloom longline bra with G string; and the sweet and saucy Heaven bralette with matching lace insert high-waisted briefs.

The beauty of Golden Flowers is in its sincere simplicity whilst yet on the flip side it brews an undercurrent of boudoir sensuality and mischief. Carly has successfully achieved that balance where neither facet of the collection is overly dominant.
“The difference between hard and soft features is subtle in this collection,” she expresses. “The Bow Me set has some elements of being strapped in tight and the Evolve set is a very carefree and flowing look.”
“The circle skirt shape often reminds me of a flower and the flow of its shape.”
Without a doubt, one of the hero pieces that defines the daring thinking behind the collection is the Evolve peplum briefs (pictured above and below), a design that has enthralled Carly herself.
“It’s a design I immediately fell in love with myself,” she admits. “I was looking through a lot of 80s lingerie look books and was inspired by a peplum attached to underwear. I designed it differently to suit the collection. The circle skirt shape often reminds me of a flower and the flow of its shape. The underwear underneath is higher cut front and back compared to other styles, so it’s extra cheeky with movement!”
“I named it Evolve after the cycle a flower grows through over time. It begins, rises, blooms and falls. Over time as with a rose, the plant and flowers grow stronger with care so naturally it evolves from when it was first planted and into maturity.”
Evolve is not just about fun, flouncy fashion but it is a representation of how Carly’s business has undergone evolution from just a creative passion into a strong, directed label and possibly why the style is so close to her heart.
the essence of Dream & Drive

But despite her love for Evolve, Carly believes that the essence of Dream & Drive is brought out in Golden Flowers’ Outline ensemble.
“It’s very classic and sensual,” she says. “It’s an essential three-piece, quarter bra, high waisted panties and garter belt. It definitely represents the brand in the simplest way. It’s called Outline because of the way in which your eyes are drawn to every curve, shape and line on every piece. It highlights a woman’s shape perfectly, which is something I’ve always tried to focus on since my first design of high waisted PVC panties with an exposed zip in the centre back.”
From the effort she has expended to build up her brand up from a pastime to a recognized label, Carly clearly wants Dream & Drive to be the gift that keeps on giving and she believes that she knows the way to keep her brand on the road to success:
“I believe it’s how you present yourself on social media,” she says. “Being approachable and engaging with potential customers makes them feel comfortable in asking questions and overall [to] trust in your brand.”
