Discovered at The Lingerie Collective trade event, Darkest Star, has become one of our favorite new brands to watch.

Darkest Star

Darkest Star is run by the quirky design duo Sam and Andy D’Cruze. The two met while Sam was studying womenswear design at London’s Central St. Martins. After spending quite a bit time working in the fashion and photography industry, the two decided to combine their skills, passion for design, and eye for detail.

The brand specializes in erotic accessories with a unique twist, aimed at the luxury end of the market. As they put it, “an unintimidating, chic alternative to light bondage.”

Back2Basics with Belt

After having immense success with their original silk bondage scarf at Coco de mer, Covent Garden, Sam and Andy have developed a range of scarves, belts and a smaller, more compact version of the
 “Pleasure Pillow”.

Pleasure Pillow Black

This amazing unassuming pillow is the perfect accompaniment to any naughty weekend. It sits stylishly in any home environment but when the guests have left the beautiful satin bow turns into a blindfold; slits are hidden to slip your hands through to be tied into place.

Darkest Star

Darkest Star’s “Ultimate Day to Evening Wear” collection incorporates Japanese bondage, tailored collars and meters of sheer black silk. As Sam explained to me at The Lingerie Collective, these pieces can be to worn as provocative ensembles meant to entice and stimulate the wearer and her lover over the course of the night. Once back at home the strips of silk turn into bondage scarves.

We can’t wait to see what new and exciting pieces Darkest Star will dream up next. To see more of their current collection scroll through the full gallery.
