Erica M. Supports Power in Pink Campaign
“We need to stand alongside breast cancer patients in the prime of their life by helping them rediscover their femininity and feel empowered.” – Erica Young.
Bodywear designer Erica M. New York is launching a limited edition of the Hanako crop top in pink for Spring 2016, to support Young Survival Coalition’s fight for young breast cancer patients and survivors.
For the campaign, named “Power in Pink”, the designer has teamed up with DOPE’s rising star Kiersey Clemons and photographer Matt Sayles to capture the actress in a sequence of powerful images and inspire young women under 40 affected by breast cancer.
As stated by the designer herself: “It is important for women to come together and help each other. Whether it is a relative or a friend, most people know at least one person who has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Every year nearly 1,200 women under age 40 die from this terrible disease. We need to stand alongside breast cancer patients in the prime of their life by helping them rediscover their femininity and feel empowered”.
Erica M.’s Hanako top, an updated version of the designer’s best selling bodysuit featuring “corset” like lines and a lace-up bow motif in the back, is part of the new Spring/Summer 2016 collection. The $80.00 top will be available for pre-orders on erica m new york from October 1st to 31st and 20% of the proceeds will be devolved to Young Survival Coalition.
