Eurovet Buys CURVExpo

Eurovet announced that it has acquired 100% of CURVExpo.

“CURVExpo and Jean-Luc and Laurence have been very strong partners over the past four years, we strongly both felt it is the right timing to merge CURVExpo within the global EUROVET organization,” said Marie-Laure Belon-Homps, CEO of Eurovet.

Eurovet had taken a 30% stake in CURVExpo back in 2008. Launched in Las Vegas in February 2007 by co-founders Jean-Luc Teinturier and Laurence Teinturier, CURVExpo combines a presence in two major markets, New York and Las Vegas.

CURVEExpo founder and CEO Jean-Luc Teinturier said, “Being part of EUROVET will enable CURVExpo to tap into new resources and capabilities, allowing us to better serve our customers. This is a great opportunity for the CURVExpo shows and for the industry as a whole. I am very happy with this strategic acquisition. It will benefit all exhibitors attracting retailers, importers and distributors from overseas, allowing them to maximize their international exposure.

CurvExpo co-founder and vice president Laurence Teinturier added “We are so thrilled with the developments of our relationship with EUROVET, which will make available to our supporting partners, retailers and exhibitors alike such global and perfect show formats, on three continents, to shop the best brands, to showcase their collections and source their production. Jean-Luc Teinturier and Laurence Teinturier will continue managing CURVExpo as co-presidents. They will be joined by a vice president, appointed by EUROVET, to further implement synergies within the new formed global entity.
