Fantasy Lingerie Premiere Collection Review
Fantasy Lingerie is at it again, creating new fantasies with their all white Premiere collection. White lingerie evokes many fantasies and feelings, be it bridal lingerie for your wedding night or a sweet, not so innocent look. Fantasy has majorly delivered this season with sultry, angelic styles in this porcelain collection. I could not wait to try them on.
Perfect for bridal lingerie or a bachelorette gift, these all white styles almost made me want to get married again. (Almost.) If you’re not ready to say yes to the dress, you’ll be saying yes to airy tulle and soft crocheted lace for sure. I received three white-hot styles from the Premiere collection, I selected size small. I’m a size 6, 34B and they all fit remarkably well.
Annie Bed Jacket
The first look I tried on I died and went to heaven. The Annie bed jacket and panty transcends time. I’ve never owned a “bed jacket” and now that’s all I want to wear. It’s a heavenly wrap top that just covers your hips, sort of a sultry new reincarnation of a shorty robe. Pretty tulle flutter sleeves pair with a sheer tulle skirted bottom to show just a peek of skin. The bed jacket can be worn open or tied with a sash, its perfect for the boudoir or even a cheeky every day robe. I’ll be wearing mine 24-7 lounging around the house as I imagine that’s what angels do.
Now I’m a sucker for crocheted lace. I love the vintage look and texture of it, when I see it in lingerie I positively swoon. Give me a geometric crocheted lace over fancy French floral lace any day. Body-hugging stretch lace pairs with a ruffled microfiber tap short bottom on this playful romper.
The stretch ensures it fits many body types, I’m tall at 5’9’’ and the length was mercifully long enough, I frequently can’t wear rompers due to my height so I was elated to find one that includes us tall gals! I especially loved the plunging neckline and seaming under the bust, figure-flattering and supportive at the same time. Inspired by Valley of the Dolls, we’re getting major 1960s femme bot vibes from the Neely romper. Pair it with a bouffant and a cat-eye and get your retro femme fatale on.
Jennifer Halter Top
My final and favorite look is the Jennifer halter top and panty. An “angelic look with devilish intent,” as Fantasy describes it. Coquettish and flirty, the bottoms are a frilly tanga style cut, with a beautiful mid-rise height that looks great on every tummy. The panty is VERY cheeky, the devil counter part to the angelic top, and I promise it will make your butt look cute.
The bra halter top fits remarkably well. For S-M-L sized lingerie I was delighted by how well the molded cups fit my 34 A-B breasts. I also appreciated the 4 rows of hooks & eyes for adjustability. The neckline detail is the star of the show here, a delicate lace collar ties around the neck with a sumptuous long bow in the back. Two panels of sheer tulle direct the eye downward to the cleavage where they connect to a balconette bra. I love the sheer covered-yet-not-covered décolletage look, it leaves more to the imagination. The Jennifer set is a dream in porcelain white, my favorite not-so-innocent lingerie set by Fantasy.
While I chose a size small for all my sets, which fit incredibly well, I’m thrilled to see Fantasy offers sizes small through 3X, and in a variety of cup sizes. It was refreshing to see that all the styles sent to me from their Premiere collection had a plus-size version as well. “Sexy is for EVERY BODY” Fantasy Lingerie boldly declares. Body positivity is splashed across their website and Instagram, playful and sexy lingerie silhouettes are worn by curvy and traditional models of all sizes. Honestly do yourself a favor and follow them on Instagram, I found myself applauding the body inclusivity paired with cheeky captions. As the founders so eloquently put it, “between curvy, playful and sophisticated, Fantasy has demonstrated what it truly believes.”
