Fraulein Annie AW12
Today, we wanted to share with our readers images from Fraulein Annie’s AW12 Collection. This beautiful photoshoot was inspired by Hitchcock movies. The lingerie is gorgeous and the imagery definitely evokes hints of Hitchcock like this image below. The shadows in the background suggest the fluttering of menacing wings while the mirror evokes a sense of voyeurism seen in movies like Rear Window.
About Fraulein Annie
The inspiration behind the Fräulein Annie brand name comes from the Marlene Dietrich song ‘Fräulein Annie wohnt schon lang nicht hier’ (Fräulein Annie doesn’t live here any more), it’s a bittersweet song about an unfulfilled love. The designer, Frauke Nagel created Fräulein Annie in 2010. She was born in Germany and has lived in London for the past 11 years, in that time she has designed for global brands, retailers and manufacturers. Frauke is passionate about delivering beautifully crafted lingerie, made with gorgeous fabrics to her own stylish designs whilst ensuring each article makes every woman look and feel gorgeously sexy but with the comfort of a second skin.
