The International Lingerie Show (ILS) starts this Sunday with over 200 exhibiting brands. That’s a lot to take in and many buyers, especially those new the show, are wondering where to start. Luckily, we have a few recommendations:

ILS’ summer show runs from Sept. 23 – 25, 2013 at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas. Brands exhibit in one of two rooms – Miranda and Pavilion.

The Miranda Room is an ideal section for retailers new to this show to start their three days of browsing and buying. This area showcases mainly intimate apparel and accessories exhibitors you could find at shows like Curve or Salon de Lingerie in Paris.

At the last edition of ILS, buyers found new collections from René Rofé, Tia Lyn Lingerie, Bracli and Lulu & Kath. Some accessory brands included Bring it Up and Luna Veneziana.

Buyers interested in seeing a greater variety of sexy lingerie and pleasure products should move onto ILS’ Pavilion room. It’s the largest room in the show, housing the majority of ILS’s exhibitors.

Here you’ll find a variety of brands and items from sexy lingerie, boxed lingerie, corsets and accessories to fetish and pleasure products.

Crave Booth at ILS

In our last ILS Show Report, we noted how retailers, especially high-end boutiques, could take advantage of the $15 billion adult toy business. We understand that there might be some hesitation, but there are some great luxury toy brands exhibiting at ILS like LELO and Crave that can fit into any boutiques aesthetics, budget and inventory.

Eurotique Corsets

Our best advice, take your time at ILS and enjoy all the show has to offer — especially the fashion show which is held the first night of the show.

Brands to Watch

Curious about the exhibiting brands? Good! We’ve put together a small sampling of companies showcasing at ILS. Let us know which brands you’re looking forward to meeting the most.

Baci Lingerie

Corsets by Baci
Be on the look out for Baci Lingerie’s new Corset Collection. The new line is divided in four sets: Fall/Winter, Spring/Summer, Bridal, and Holiday/Valentines. Bridal white satin with touches of baby blue lace and removable garters appeal to romantic boudoir sensibilities. In all, there are 23 fabulous pieces from which to pick and choose. Designer Sonja Raaste added that she wanted to “create a collection of proper, well-crafted corsets (not just bustiers or ones with plastic boning) that could also be worn as outer garments or prêt-a-porter. I took my inspiration from High Street and Catwalks for the F/W and S/S styles. Satin and lace are the main stories for Valentine’s and Bridal.”

Tia Lyn Lingerie

Tia Lyn Core Collection
Established in 2001, Tia Lyn is known for its use of delicate and innovative fabrics, contemporary designs and fit — every style is offered in sizes S, M, L, XL, 2X and 3X.

Her signature style is a flirty and feminine selection of camisoles, chemises, and gowns with an Old Hollywood quality with on-trend updates and amazing lycra-enhanced fabrics that give classic looks a modern twist. “This collection reveals the underpinnings of a more sophisticated woman where as you get closer to her inner layer, the layers become just as lovely as she is,” says the designer Tia Lyn.
