“The secret is not buying more..it is buying better.” – Michael Moreira, International Lingerie Show.
The International Lingerie Show (ILS) wrapped up earlier this month in Las Vegas with a generous selection of lingerie, accessory and pleasure product brands during three days for visiting buyers and press.

Spectrade, the show’s organizers recognize the tough retail environment everyone is facing and they encourage retailers to take stock of both their inventory and best practices.
“The secret is not buying more..it is buying better.” suggests Spectrade’s Michael Moreira. “Look to new vendors. They might have the items you are missing. Perhaps trying to move a little upscale or putting in a a few lower prices items.”

And the truth is, the ILS Show is an excellent platform for retailers looking to expand their brand horizons. ILS exhibitors range all price points in all categories from pleasure products to intimates.
A great example at this edition of the show is seen in two brands — Evae Evae Couture Lingerie and Fantasy Lingerie.
First up, Evae Evae Couture Lingerie is a high-end brand with a special niche for custom cut and fit wedding inspired pieces that is designed and made in Hawaii by Eva Hubenakova. The pieces are gorgeous, elegantly designed and crafted. Some styles like the Monica three-piece ensemble retail for several hundred dollars.
Fantasy Lingerie offers an equally stunning range — Première Hanging Collection — that will also fit nicely in boutiques. Styles retail competitively at under $100. At the show, the brand showcased styles like the Madison Corset & Panty Set, Bridgette Lace Bra & Skirt with Matching Panty and Bella Kimono Lace Robe.
For retailers looking for highly merchandisable items (especially by the counter), Seven ’til Midnight showcased their wide collection of accessories that range from bondage-inspired styles to elegant lace masks. The brand also presented looks from their holiday collection to visiting buyers as well.
If you missed the show, don’t worry, we’ve included several images from the three-day trade event. The next edition of ILS is slated for April 4th, – 6th, 2016 at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas.
