Interview with Jessie Zinke Part One
Welcome to part one of our video interview with Jessie Zinke. Here she talks a little bit about Zinke’s new collection, Collins Avenue and the inspiration behind it.
Described as “…infusing the glamorous opulence of Art Deco with Miami’s signature easy elegance, Zinke’s Collins Avenue is filled with stylish modernity, vibrancy and pop. Named for favorite hotspots lining the famed boulevard, including The Raleigh Hotel, The Shelley and The Catalina, the collection reflects the unique energy found only in Miami.”
The collection also includes the first Zinke-designed print, called Seneca. It was designed by Zinke’s designer, Jessie and was is described as being “inspired by extensive travel during the deco period, the Seneca print is a riff on the repetition of shape and native influences.”
