The Lingerie Edit has celebrated another successful season, showing the best of AW16 collections from high-end commercial and premium brands at The Savoy Hotel in London.
January 11 & 12, 2016 saw buyers visit from international stores and the UK including Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, Fenwick, Dolci Follie and Coco de Mer. Of the 30 brands, regular and new exhibitors alike were pleased with the outcome said the show organizers.

Loveday London relies on the show for its accessibly and feels right at home within the luxury of the stunning Savoy Hotel.”
“Showing our premium collections for the first time at a London trade show, The Lingerie Edit event AW16 held at The Savoy Hotel has been the perfect London showcase launch for us – in terms of presenting our premium collections in the perfect setting and meeting with buyers, from luxury Department Stores, Premium Fashion online and Luxury Lingerie Independents. “Really happy to hear all the feedback on our launch collection and to meet lots of buyers! It was an interesting mix of boutiques, department stores, bloggers and trade press, we really enjoyed presenting the collection and “feel boosted by the positive response that we have received. We hope, in attending that we have gained brand awareness and pushed our brand ethos and identity.” said Mazie Gardner & Abbie Miranda, Beija Flor.
TLE Best Brand Award
As usual, visiting buyers and press were asked to vote for their favourite brand from the show. Loveday London were ‘overwhelmed’ to claim the title, this being their third win in the TLE Best Brand Awards.
APM Atelier Award
New brands exhibiting in the Atelier were given the opportunity to claim the APM Atelier Award, supporting the winning independent label with 6 months fast tracking and top level training. This training will include a Skype call once per month where goals and targets will be set for the brand, as a way of ‘fast tracking’ them into intimates trade success. Fréolic were selected to win and the TLE team are very much looking forward to working with the brand.
TLE organisers David Finlayson and Tamar Kendall were thrilled with the outcome and would like to thank all the fantastic brands that chose to exhibit, and of course the buyers that travelled from around the UK and worldwide to attend and place AW16 orders.
Tamar Kendall comments, “Interest in the show is growing every season and we already have a huge list of brands wanting to exhibit in July, which we will announce dates for shortly. It is a real pleasure to be supporting the UK and global lingerie industry in this way, and of course it’s vital to us that we continue to provide a platform in London – the fashion capital of the world!
