Lingerie Fashion Week Introduces THE SUITE

Lingerie Fashion Week debuts a new showcase at for their upcoming season: THE SUITE, a Pop-Up Press Preview showcasing both current season and SS15 collections held from October 24th & 25th at Center548 in New York City.
THE SUITE is held on-site at the Lingerie Fashion Week October season, running concurrent with the two days of shows and housed in a private space within the Sponsor Lounge. Ideal for emerging and established brands alike, THE SUITE offers brands an opportunity to tap into Lingerie Fashion Week’s audience without the commitment of holding a Runway Show or Presentation.
Participating brands are given a dedicated space in THE SUITE to display current season and/or SS15 collections on garment rack, for the purposes of introducing collections to media and industry influencers in a one-on-one, intimate setting.

Who Lingerie Fashion Week’s the Suite Targets
Specifically targeting press, attendees will be comprised of the following media types: Short Leads (weekly magazines, newspapers, digital properties and broadcast outlets) attending with current season and Holiday in mind; Long Leads (magazine market and news editors) attending to view SS15 collections for February/Valentine’s Day and further spring issues; and Fashion, Wardrobe and Celebrity Stylists attending to view collections for various editorial shoots, television and film opportunities, red carpet clients and more.

As a result brands can expect to meet and greet, relationship-build and network with editors, stylists and further top-tier press members with the goal of generating editorial interest, sample loan-out requests, and further media opportunities both immediate and extending post-Preview. Currently, Affinitas & Parfait, Harlow & Fox, NaïS, Neveah and Secrets in Lace are participating.

“October is the time of the year when many brands and PR houses are already holding Press Previews, to capitalize on Holiday and Spring editorial calendars – including the February (Valentine’s Day) issue, a prime opportunity for intimates brands. In light of our October time shift it was a no-brainer to bring the Press Preview element on-site to Lingerie Fashion Week, expanding our range of participation opportunities for brands as well as offering a further draw for attendees.”

Participants in THE SUITE are also privy to the Lingerie Fashion Week Finale Runway Show, brought back from it’s debut last season. The Finale Show will take place during the on-site Official Closing Benefit, for which all designers of Lingerie Fashion Week October are invited back to participate, complimentary.
