Lingerie Selection Founders
What’s the best way for retailers to connect with new brands? It’s a surprisingly difficult question to answer, but two years ago three independent lingerie designers decided to improve on a buyer’s shopping experience.
Maggie Gillette of The Giving Bride, Melissa Franchi of Nevaeh Intimates, and Alessandra Baker of Alessandra Mackenzie, believed that intimate apparel is more effectively discovered in an intimate environment.
So they created a new type of experience, the Lingerie Selection.

“We offer buyers a diverse, luxurious, high-quality selection of brands unmatched elsewhere in the industry,” said Maggie. “Through a beautiful, serene atmosphere, physical events, digital communication, and a personal touch, The Lingerie Selection presents a new, highly differentiated approach to market.”
Conveniently located near The Javits Center, The Lingerie Selection next show runs from August 8 – August 9, 2017.

Pre-registration via The Lingerie Selection website allows for a speedy check-in process and streamlines follow-up post show. Attendees are welcome to request introductions to specific brands, receiving a hands-on, customized experience.
The Lingerie Selection hosts an Industry Cocktail Party on August 8, 2017 in the bright, beautiful, Daylight Studios loft.
“This is always a favorite event of our attendees, a place to relax and preview the latest in luxury lingerie.” said Alessandra.

On August 9, 2017, TLS hosts a Press Breakfast that includes food and walkthroughs of the new collections by the designers themselves.

A fantastic selection of brands are confirmed, including the co-founding brands, Alessandra Mackenzie, The Giving Bride and Nevaeh Intimates.
Suzy Black returns to this edition as well. New brands include Etched Lingerie, Uwila Warrior, tyes.by.tara and Loulette Lingerie (with more brands announcing soon!).
The experience doesn’t end in August. The show’s founders note that the TLS creates other activities year-round to engage customers and increase brand awareness.
