Lingerie Tour Teaser
A few weeks ago, I decided to tack on a few extra days before my trip to the CURVE Las Vegas Show to see Los Angeles. I had a great time and had a chance to visit with Seven ’til Midnight, Curvy Couture, the Mann Folk PR team, ARGYLEHaus of Apparel, and Jenette Bras.
I was also treated to a tour of Los Angeles thanks to Elisabeth Dale of theBreastLife.com! As I write this, I’m getting ready to head down to the Mandalay Bay Convention Center to see this edition of the CURVE show in Las Vegas. So stay tuned for more on this! In the mean time, I wanted to share a few teaser images of my trip. Enjoy!
Sometimes you just don’t get enough time at CURVE, so it was great to see Curvy Couture’s Sports Bra in great detail with the brand’s Evora Russell and Summer Rose Orona.
Seven ’til Midnight
Because of my flight, I missed Seven ’til Midnight’s Bloggers Event, but I still had a chance to meet with the creative forces behind the brand — May Luong and Vinh Luong. It was great to hear how May and Vinh have grown Seven ’til Midnight through the years. It’s an amazing story that the TLJ team and I are going to bring to our readers soon!
Mann Folk PR
Before my trip, Josefina Ballesta of Mannfolk PR reached out to see if I’d like to learn more about the UpBra, a fully adjustable cleavage lift-up bra. I said yes and it turned out that timing was perfect to see the collection in person in LA. We’ll be working on a feature with the UpBra’s creator in the next few weeks.
ARGYLEHaus of Apparel
ARGYLEHaus of of Apparel is a fashion design house and apparel manufacturing company offering services to established designers, growth-stage companies, and national brands. We are a team of industry leading business experts, technical designers, pattern makers, and master seamstresses with over 100 years of combined experience in the fashion, apparel, and manufacturing industries.
A few years ago, intimate apparel entrepreneur Houman Salem was in the early stages of creating ARGYLEHaus. He wanted to get some insights from a lingerie designer so I put him in touch with Priscialla Jade founder, Priscilla Condinach. The result? Apparel design and manufacturing is back in Los Angeles with ARGYLEHaus of Apparel. It was really special to finally visit the ARGYLEHaus factory and see lingerie being made and designers working with the ARGYLEHaus team on their latest creations.
This was a special treat! Elisabeth Dale of theBreastLife.com took me on a #lingerietour of Los Angeles and the jewel of the trip was stop to Jenette Bra’s Westside location. It’s an amazing lingerie boutique and we’ll have a Retail Spotlight on Jenette very soon!
