MeMoi Lingerie and Loungewear Collection – World Traveler
“Women have the freedom to combine these styles into provocative, memorable and eye-catching outfits depending on their mood.” Asi Efros, MeMoi.
If your eye catches traces of stone work from the Notre Dame, elements of Ukrainian embroidery or Japanese interiors while gazing at MeMoi’s latest collections, you’re not alone and it’s not an accident.
Designer, Asi Efros, soaked in influences from around the world to help create a beautiful lingerie and loungewear collection for women to enjoy and cherish. Styles move from day to night, from work to play, and are infused with the brand’s ethos of always delivering superior-quality, innovation and affordability.
“‘Love Yourself’ is the main thought behind our MeMoi Collection which governs the look and feel of the line. All pieces are created for a woman who loves herself.”
On some pieces, embroidered hummingbirds hover over stitched flowers; Chantilly laces flow like Gothic buttresses on chemises and robes and geometric dots create beautiful patterns over leggings and seamless bra tops.
There are several named collection spanning intimates and lounge for Fall 2018 and Spring 2019. Lingerie pieces include camis, chemises, gowns, kimonos, robes, bodysuits, tap pants and thongs.
“I like to think about these pieces as ‘Jewelry for the body.’ said Asi. “They exist to emphasize the beauty of the woman’s body and therefore they are sheer, light and romantic.”
The MeMoi brand offers socks, leggings, tights, pantyhose, shape wear, slippers, pajamas & robes, lingerie, underwear, active & athleisure wear; a true lifestyle brand based on comfort, quality, and wearable trend.
MeMoi’s lounge offerings include pajama sets, plush robes, lounge tops and bottom sets, hooded capes, and jogger pants. This category is one of Asi’s favorites and notes that she’ll be wearing her own brand’s pieces this Fall and many more Falls to come.
“Both tops and bottoms are independent wardrobe builders. Tops will look fantastic with fitted jeans or leggings (from the Rosa Collection) and bottoms can be worn with high heels and lacy top CPJ00119 or embroidered bodysuit CBS00057 from the Fall 2018 Collection.”
The Rosa collection Asi mentions melds athletic and lounge stylings with seamless tops and leggings. “Rosa is a great vignette of the seamless separates which can be worn in the house, at the gym, to yoga practice,” said Asi. “These styles can be combined with Lounge pieces from our collection.”
Did we mention there’s a slipper collection? Five distinct styles give the wearer almost unlimited options when paired with MeMoi pieces.
If you feel that these styles would fit and carry you throughout the day, that’s because the MeMoi Fall 2018 collection was created as a versatile wardrobe collection with pieces suited for the boudoir, office or the street.
“Styles are classic and will withstand a test of time,” said Asi. “They are made from beautiful fabrics, and adorned with laces and embroideries which will make them precious and enjoyable. Women have the freedom to combine these styles into provocative, memorable and eye-catching outfits depending on their mood.”
The brand turned heads around the world with the collections at four trade events – UNIQUE / Interfiliere in Paris; CURVENEWYORK; MODA in the UK and the CPM Body and Beach show in Moscow.
At Interfiliere, MeMoi was featured in the Innovation Forum for its unique design and technology as well as for its eco-friendly production process. While at CURVENEWYORK, MeMoi took center stage at the show’s Concept Lounge garnering attention from visiting buyers and press.
Finally, in Moscow, MeMoi was one of only two participating American brands and was showcased in that country’s “Lingerie” magazine.
At the shows, the MeMoi team suggested to buyers the best way to present the collection is by showcasing all the pieces together as it’s done in boudoir so that customers can design their own outfits.
“High-end boutiques will be able to showcase the collection as it was intended combining lingerie and sleepwear with loungewear, robes and slippers,” said Asi.
