The Moda Lingerie & Swimwear show, sponsored by INVISTA LYCRA XTRA LIFE®, returns this summer to showcase a host of gorgeous spring/summer 13 designs. The show will take place from August 12th-14th at the NEC Birmingham.
Skiny, Punto Blanco, Carizzi, Touche Lingerie, Cherry Blushes, Trussed Lingerie, David, Ellipse Lingerie, Lady Muck, South Beach, Bella Bamba, Maya Peters, Nikki Cooke, Funclub, Intimo Moi, and My Shapes are just a few of the brands showing for the first time this summer alongside some of the industry’s biggest names such as Wacoal, Gossard, Fantasie, Anita, DKNY, Panache, Chantelle, Charnos, Lepel, Maison Close, Hanro, Maryan Mehlhorn, Jantzen, Azura Swimwear, Banana Moon, Piha, Seafolly, Red or Dead, Watercult and Zoggs.
Making its debut at the summer show will be Austrian lifestyle underwear brand Skiny. The label is part of manufacturing company Courtalds and will show underwear, loungewear and beachwear for both men and women. The women’s range will feature a variety of everyday cozy cottons, bold prints and a mix-and-match concept across its ranges. The men’s line focuses on maximum comfort using sophisticated cuts and microfibres with bright color palettes and pepperings of neon for a playful feel.
In addition to Skiny, Spanish label Punto Blanco, catering for women, men and children with its collection of vibrant swimwear and loungewear, and Lady Muck, with its teen underwear range, will be showing for the first time.
With a great mix of new and returning names, the swimwear labels in attendance this summer are set to make it one the strongest seasons. Italian brand David makes its debut appearance through shapewear label Patricia Eve. Beachwear and luxury cover-ups will be on show with pieces designed for both more mature and fashion conscious women. Taking inspiration from international catwalks and celebrity style is UK swimwear label South Beach. Its summer launch will feature trend-led swimwear and beach apparel for colorful youthful style. Emerging brand Bella Bamba will also be in attendance to showcase its daring collection of swimsuits and bikinis with cut-out detailing and embellishment.
Spanish swimwear and accessories brand Funclub will also show its latest range for the first time at the show alongside loungewear and sleepwear from Intimo Moi. Ted Baker and Pour Moi are making a welcome return to the UK market with their latest swimwear designs. New arrival MyShapes specializes in body sculpting underwear and has introduced Emana technology to its products. Emana is a revolutionary fibre, which stimulates the body’s circulation and metabolism to reduce the appearance of cellulite and to create more toned, elastic and younger looking skin.
Home to the event’s high-end and directional labels at Moda Rougue will be more new signings with collections from Carizzi, Touche Lingerie, Cherry Blushes, Ellipse Lingerie and Trussed Lingerie. Swimwear newcomers include Maya Peters with ethnic-inspired pieces and flattering styles from Nikki Cooke.
Returning to the zone will be the likes of Mimi Holliday, Damaris, Kiss Me Deadly, Playful Promises, Paolita, Kiku Design, Miss Mandala, among many more.
Moda will host the spring/summer 13 collections from August 12th-14th at the NEC Birmingham.
