Patricia Fieldwalker 2013 Collection
“Inspired by the colors of her garden and the beauty and utility of silk her focus has been to create timeless designs with regard to function & fit.”
On such a gorgeous Spring day with beauty bursting from flower beds all around us, it seems only appropriate to showcase a designer inspired by the colors of her garden – Patricia Fieldwalker.
Her latest 2013 collection offers retailers and consumers a sensual feast of chemises, kimonos, and gowns (amongst other styles) crafted in fine lace and silk.
“Patricia’s creations are made to order in her Vancouver Atelier and each buyer is able to select their own variation on the styles presented each season”
Retailers take note: Patricia’s creations are made to order in her Vancouver Atelier and each buyer is able to select their own variation on the styles presented each season, ensuring that no two stores have the same assortment.
“Nothing is made for stock that limits a buyer’s options and no work is done by outside contractors or ‘home sewers’,” noted the company. “A highly skilled team of experienced sewers contribute to the final garment to maintain consistent quality and fit.”
“Patricia Fieldwalker is one of the few true lingerie designers in the world. Her understanding of the area is without comparison. She understands fit and quality. Her skills as a designer are far above anyone in today’s lingerie market.” – Joseph M. Boitano, SAKS FIFTH AVENUE
Winner of the prestigious Madame Figaro Award for “Best in Show”, selected by the Royal Ontario Museum of Ontario to represent lingerie design in the “Au Courant” Exhibition and five time Matinee Fashion Foundation of Canada award for excellence, Patricia continues to follow her own vision, despite the passing whims of “fashion”.
A long time favorite of the movie and fashion magazine industries, she has dressed such famous beauties as Christie Turlington, Claudia Schiffer, Linda Evangelista, Michelle Pfieffer, Julia Roberts, Sharon Stone, Demi Moore, Monica Belluschi, Renee Rousseau and Rebecca Romijn. Patricia remains committed to the bias cut styling and clear, cosmetic colors that have made her collection the hallmark of universal and timeless elegance.
Earlier this year, Patricia and her talented team were here in New York showcasing the collection. We’re hoping they’ll be back in the city later this summer in time for the next round of trade shows and events.
