Petite Coquine Lingerie Made in Italy
“Petite Coquine describes itself as a luxury lingerie brand with a desire to create a universe of seduction, sly allusions and luxuriant femininity”
I spent a good chunk of my early 20s living and working in Italy and I am completely in love with all things Italian. I speak the language (somewhat fluently), love the food, devour books on ancient roman history and even put down roots in a small town here in the Hudson Valley where the barbers and cafe shop owners still speak Italian, Neopolitan and some Sicilian.
So, whenever an Italian lingerie designer pops up on my radar I jump on the opportunity to call them up for a chance to practice my Italian and learn more about their brands.
This summer, Alessandra Di Lorenzo, the brilliant designer behind Petite Coquine sent us a few images from her current collection that we wanted to share with our readers.
Designed and made in Italy, Petite Coquine describes itself as a luxury lingerie brand with a desire to “create a universe of seduction, sly allusions and luxuriant femininity with lingerie that is not only gorgeous but also adapts to the feminine body exalting a woman’s shape with a deep study of wearability.”
Alessandra added, “Our passion is to create high-end lingerie that disclose sensuality with unexpected particulars.”
Additionally, the designer noted that her collection is ethically made in her native Italy using the “finest raw materials, soft on the body and caressing to the touch, like silk crepe, satin, tulle, chantilly lace.”
Her current collection offers three ranges: Nude, Nuage, Nuit and Frou Frou. All of which are represented here and in the full gallery. For wholesale questions, please scroll down for Alessandra’s contact info.
Petite Coquine can be found in boutiques in Italy and around Europe including Angélique DeVil in Milan; Cocò in Florence; Zou Zou in Rome and Space Praga in the Czech Republic.
Editor’s Note: Product/Collection descriptions provided by Petite Coquine
It’s completely realized in in flesh-tone tulle and black satin borders to create charming lines on skin and delicate nacked effect transparencies. The bra is an underwired balconette with the black border that continues on the back designing sensuous lines.
We used two different kind of superimposed tulle in two overtones of powder colors. A darker powder that clings tightly to sikn and a lighter upper layer that gathers creating soft embossings and plays of light.
Bra is an half-cup balconette to match to the lascivious ouvert knickers closed by little buttons covered by ivory satin and black lace or to the lush string on which a black silk satin camellia with at the center a snow-white pearl lowers.
Inspired by light images of Degas’ ballet dancers present a balconette bra edged by thick tulle ruffles to match to ouvert knickers retained by a pale pink rubber and enriched by tulle ruffles like bra.
For this series we choose three colors versions: soft light blue, tasty cherry and dusty black, always with pale pink ruffles.
