Pudding, the specialist Retail Lingerie Consultancy from the former award-winning lingerie retailer of the same name, has launched a range of lower cost consultancy and training services. The budget offering is especially designed for retailers and manufacturers who are newly established or finding cashflow difficult.

Owner Helen Masters says ‘Many new businesses or businesses that are going through tough times find it very difficult to justify or find the cash to bring in expert help – and the irony is that’s the time they need it most! There are still too many businesses in our industry who are struggling, or who would really benefit from some expert advice but are strapped for cash so we have added a range of services to help those who need it most and are on a tight budget.’

As Helen explains, ‘We have found a way of keeping costs down by offering express versions of our fuller service and electronic versions of training courses (great for teams of more than one as you can share the cost). It means we pack a lot in as we cover all the areas that retailers or manufacturers need to think about in one session, from business planning to proposition development, pricing, how to attract more customers and how to convert more customers into buyers. Clients go away with a clear direction on what they need to do to improve or launch their business. We can of course offer follow up support if people need it, but a lot of clients just need someone to put them on the right track – it’s a small investment in the scheme of things and we’ve had feedback from clients to say it has been invaluable.’
