Laura Henny wants the world to know that everyone is welcome at her Brooklyn lingerie boutique, the Rack Shack. A recent photoshoot featuring Laura’s customers, friends, models and even make-up artist help show off her boutique’s philosophy of body positivity.

“With these pictures I hope to communicate that The Rack Shack is focused on catering to the diversity of people and styles no matter what gender, race or size,” said Laura.

The images, shot by Brooklyn-based photographer Eat the Cake NYC, also help Laura promote lingerie the boutique stocks to potential customers.

“Not all brands have images that I, or my customer can relate to and even though a lot of the brands make a wide range of sizes, they don’t show that sometimes in their images.” said Laura.

Brands Featured

The photoshoot features lingerie from the Little Bra Company, the Giving Bride, Tutti Rouge, Addiction Lingerie, Gossard, Cleo Panache, Scantilly, Curvy Kate, Playful Promises and hosiery by Pretty Polly. Some of the models showcased harnesses and chokers by Nac Equipment and Bijoux Indiscrets.

“We had an amazing day with so much fun, love and positivity so that was already an amazing experience in of its self.” said Laura.

The entire project came together just in time for a huge business milestone for the boutique. Laura says that on on Sunday, February 12, 2017, “the Rack Shack is celebrating it’s one year anniversary with a Sip & Shop! Come by, have a glass of Champagne, sweets and for those who need to buy a last minute Valentines outfit or gift, everything is 10% off that day.”
