Welcome to December’s edition of TLJ’s Retailer Spotlight! This month, we move from Australia to Brooklyn, New York to put the spotlight on Peek Brooklyn, an online boutique dedicated to bringing the finest hosiery from around the world to its customers.

Founded by Cristina Casciano-King, the idea to open Peek was born from a trip to Europe. “While traveling in Europe I discovered the world of European Hosiery. So when I returned home and realized you couldn’t find the same selection in New York City let alone the rest of the USA, I decided to launch PEEK Brooklyn,” explained Cristina.

The TLJ team had its first peek at Peek Brooklyn on Facebook and were immediately intrigued by the store’s lovely logo. Clicking on the link to their website, we immediately fell in love with their eboutique’s clean layout and consistent branding. Navigation was a breeze and everything that we needed to explore and shop was placed logically and clearly.

Shopping on their site is lovely. Customers can search for hosiery by brand, category, color and more. Images are nicely sized and individual product pages carry a good amount of detail.

Looking forward, Cristina says that she’s looking to opening a brick-and-mortar store as well and will hopefully carry lingerie to compliment all of her hosiery offerings. We’ll definitely stop by when that day arrives!

We don’t have a no returns policy, but if a customer is not completly satisfied we will offer a discount on their next order.

We want everyone to be able to express themselves through their own personal style, so we offer a wide varity of textures and patterns to suit that.

Peek Brooklyn’s Social Media Approach
We have a active facebook and twitter account. We like to showcase our products how we we would wear them, as well allow customers to ask us questions on how to wear our products. We offer special deal and promos through our social media outlets. We also are attempting to create a community through our facebook page by showcasing fun illustrations of hosiery, tid bits about the industry and asking them what they would like us to stock.
