Salua Lingerie Expands into Southern US Market
Salua Lingerie announced it launched a new office and confirmed distribution agreements in lieu of expansion plans into the Southern US market.
According to Salua Lingerie President, Shadia K’David, the company will open a new commercial office in Oklahoma City, and has brought on new commercial reps who will serve the greater Southern region.
”Targeting southern states has been a key goal of the company since opening our headquarters in Seattle, Washington,” said K’David. “We are very excited by the opportunity the South represents for Salua Lingerie,” K’David explained and pointed to the similarities in climate and tradition that the region shares with the company’s Caribbean origins as central factors behind the company’s anticipated success.
“Our exclusive sleepwear designs bring together classic European sophistication with the magic of a New World allure that has come to define our hand woven garments. We believe this combination is an ideal fit for the elegance and romanticism sought by the modern Southern woman,” K’David said.
Salua Lingerie was founded in 1993 in Santa Marta, Colombia, by K’David’s mother Yolanda Cecilia Navarro who has been dedicated to creating hand-made, high-end cotton sleepwear combined with the finest of Spanish cotton laces & finishes ever since.
Despite moving its headquarters to Seattle, and the warm welcome it has received from boutiques across the US, Salua Lingerie’s workshop is still based in Santa Marta, where the artisan pieces are designed and inspired by the town’s enduring charm.
