The Bra Lounge
“Local women appreciate being able to get small town, compassionate service and items they know they will love.” – Sheena Johnson.
Fast Fashion is out at The Bra Lounge in downtown Red Deer, Alberta. Sisters Cortney Hollenga and Sheena Johnson, opened the store in 2007 when they were both in their mid-20s with a vision that still rings true today— to create an empowering and comfortable place for women to learn about and shop for quality, practical undergarments.

They can find everything from basics to sports and nursing at The Bra Lounge. Featured brands include Chantelle, Elomi, Freya, Panache, Marlies Dekkers, Prima Donna, Empreinte, Corin, Ulla, and many more.

The Bra Lounge also offers a terrific collection of sleep and loungewear, swimwear, shapewear and underwear from brands such as Paper Label Sleep, PJ Salvage, Fleurt, Janira, Spanx, Blue Sky Clothing Co, and Hanky Panky.
Just last year the store also introduced mastectomy and post-surgical products, to better accommodate the needs of the community.
Customers who are not local to Central Alberta can still get their hands on a well-fitting and quality bra from The Bra Lounge. The store offers Skype and Facetime fittings where a staff member walks the customer through her measurements and shows her options from the stock room. Together they determine which styles are the best, and they are shipped out. Sheena says staff members are always available for a follow-up video call if necessary, and that this service has been successful for the store. “Women who are unable to find the products in their community are thrilled to have the opportunity to shop with us without leaving home,” she says.
Those who can make it into the store are in for a treat. Sheena says customers will always be guaranteed a relaxing and stress-free shopping experience. All of the bras are stored in the stock room, so customers are simply measured and brought styles that are appropriate for their wants and needs. “Customers never have to weed through stock or try to figure out sizes,” she says.
The Bra Lounge has a large social presence, in the community and online. “The company has a strong reputation for giving back and supporting others in their region,” says Sheena. “Local women appreciate being able to get small town, compassionate service and items they know they will love.”
