The Power of Lace: Pink Champagne
“When lace is timeless, everybody is happy. A girl’s sexuality finds peace, and men display ever-lasting gratitude. We can all escape in lace that reminds us of an eternal vacation.”

This column calls for Champagne. I must pour a large glass of vino, for Shell Belle Couture demands nothing less. When in Rome, right? Shell Belle Couture and Champaign are like Bonnie and Clyde. The two seem to have the greatest love affair of all time.
I find myself at a loss for words with this lace. I am overwhelmed by Shell Belle Couture. Each piece is a timeless beauty in its own right. These Boudoir wonders possess elegance that is more contagious to its wearer than the nastiest cold. Every garment is like an old soul that has lived 100 lavish lives. It feels as though my lacy baby doll nighty could have been Queen Elizabeth’s secret evening treasure, and then took a journey through a flapper girl’s lingerie drawer, and then onto the pages of Vargas’ drawings, and somehow, all these years later, it took a voyage through New York City and has found a home with me. Who knows where it might go centuries from now.
“I’ve grown attached to this vintage lace, taking it everywhere with me.”
I am my purest self in Shell Belle Couture. Every garment is as light as a feather. When I slip it on, my words, gestures and movements become as delicate and pleasant as the piece itself. I’ve grown attached to this vintage lace, taking it everywhere with me. Countless parties have had the pleasure of encountering my bluebird blouson.

Every time I step out, people are in awe of Shell Belle Couture’s exquisite beauty and fine detail. One of my many New Year’s resolutions is to cook more often, and the bluebird romper is the perfect outfit for dinner dates at home with my Buffalo.
Such fine lace is more feminine than a girl can wrap her head around. It is more elegant than a blonde out of finishing school, and yet sexier than any sexed up screen siren.
“It is like putting on a vacation. Dangerously luxurious!”
It is like putting on a vacation. Dangerously luxurious! I desire nothing more than twirling around and rolling in the sheets, or the sand even. Can’t I just sip Champagne and wear this all day? Isn’t that enough? In Shell Belle Couture I don’t wish to do anything other than distract myself with the beautiful things of the world. Everything else can go away. I’ve got some kind of lovesick affair with Shell Belle Couture. Like a small child who won’t leave the house with out it’s blanky. And yet, in all its lavish, luxury it manages to inspire. Such regal lace is worthy of art. I’ve decided to use the garments for portions of my, “Leda and the Swan” photography project this year. But I can’t tell you more than that.
December left me exhausted as I crossed the finish line into 2013. There were countless holiday parties, and I was tickled pink to be at every one. But the end of the year is also loaded for all of us. Lets face it, family time around the holidays can be overwhelming and intense. Yet on the other hand, I was smitten with holiday cheer. Buffalo and I threw a Christmas party to remember. We packed our place with countless friends and family and celebrated the night away. Nothing brings me more happiness than to see people dancing to our Juke Box until the wee hours of the morning.
“Shell Belle Couture is exactly what I need to kick off the New Year. It provides a piece of mind, while simultaneously inspiring me for 2013.”
For a Sagittarian like myself, it all hits you at once; suddenly you’re a year older, Christmas comes and goes, and then the year ends, just like that. By the time January gets to you, you’ll have a long list of New Years resolutions, completely exhausted after December’s circus leaves you in the dust. You feel like you’ve gotten your ass kicked but ironically, you also had a lot of fun. Buffalo and I were glad to be back to our regular selves come New Years Eve. We reflected on a marvelous year, showing thanks for 2012, and welcoming 2013. Shell Belle Couture is exactly what I need to kick off the New Year. It provides a piece of mind, while simultaneously inspiring me for 2013.

Pink Champagne, Bluebird, and Gold are the colors of a lullaby. And one will find all of them in Shell Belle Couture.
Happy New Year.
