The value of attending venues such as ILS

In a world were we are ever increasingly digitally connected we sometimes miss the value of personal contact. Our recent experience at the International Lingerie Show has reconfirmed our belief in the value of spending the time and money to make that personal connection.

Attending the ILS this week allowed us to meet with many of our clients, get direct feedback, share with them new features and services we are offering, and meet some of theLingerieJournal.com’s wonderful readers. People were able to put faces to the voices that make Gozooko tick.

Human interaction is invaluable, and leads to long term business and personal relationships.

We met with Christinia and her team of Sexylily.com, who wrote us for advice a couple of weeks ago. We were able to sit with her and her team and discuss in detail techniques to further improve the SEO of her site.

We met with Cheryl and Matt of Cheriescloset.com, who is one of our clients. Cheryl and Matt are always helpful in working with us to develop new features and functions, and give their feedback on other services we have been developing.

Getting out from behind our Blackberry’s, iPhones, and laptops, to socialize is also very important. We socialized after the show and meet some people who shared their experience and knowledge of the industry.
