Tommy John Launches New Bra Collection

After two years of extensive product development, Tommy John launches their introductory collection of fit-flexible bras and bralettes. This launch comes one year after the successful launch of the women’s division that sold through six months of inventory within the first six weeks.
Tommy John’s collection of fit-flexible bras and bralettes includes two of the brand’s best-selling fabrications, Second Skin and Cool Cotton. Second Skin is a luxuriously soft, non-pilling micro-modal fabric that comes in four styles; The Second Skin Demi, Second Skin Lightly Lined Wireless, the Second Skin Scoop Bralette and the Second Skin Triangle Bralette.
Cool Cotton is a light weight, breathable, moisture wicking smart cotton fabric that comes in two styles; the Cool Cotton Lightly Lined Wireless Bra and the Cool Cotton Scoop Bralette. Each bra contains fit-flexible features that adjust to the individual and promises no pinching, poking, slipping, bunching or gaping. The collection ranges in price from $48 to $78. Each bra is covered under the brand’s “Best Pair You’ll Ever Wear or It’s Free” Guarantee.
“The truth is, the shape and size of a women’s body fluctuate regularly, so her size and needs are never static,” states Erin Fujimoto, Co-founder of Tommy John. “It was important to us to introduce a versatile collection of bras and bralettes that can adjust with her changing needs and provide an enhanced – and above all, comfortable – wearing experience all day, every day.”
Some of the fit-flexible features and benefits include; embedded metal-free flexible support, fully adjustable and convertible straps, extended four row back closure, removable pads and built-in power mesh support that lifts, supports and separates.
“This is without a doubt the most anticipated product launch since we introduced women’s in April 2018,” adds Fujimoto. “From the very beginning, comfort has always been at the core of everything that we do. In true Tommy John fashion, we’ve used premium fabrics, innovative fits and problem-solving technology to rethink the most uncomfortable garment women own. And we’re only just beginning. We’ll introduce additional bra sizes, styles and fabrications in 2020 and beyond.”
Following this launch, Tommy John will continue to grow their men’s and women’s product assortment through the expansion of their Go Anywhere Apparel line. Additionally, the company is set to open a holiday pop-up at Westfield Old Orchard in Skokie, IL later this month, as well as two additional retail locations this fall at Scottsdale Fashion Square in Scottsdale, Arizona and Houston Galleria in Houston, Texas.
