“In a tough economy our buyers look for something unique and well-priced. It’s why they keep coming back to us,” Toute la Nuit founder Karen Judge

Toute la Nuit Loungewear, San Francisco’s “bed to breakfast” line has unveiled two groups for Spring 2012: its luxury silk line “Collection,” as well as a second season of its popular diffusion group, “Ravissante” (French for Ravishing woman).

Spring 2012’s “Collection” consists of 18 flowing styles in silk and cotton sateen that includes nighties and gowns, long and cropped pj pants, knickers and tap shorts, romantic tops, and the line’s ever-popular Butterfly Robe. The pieces are trimmed in specialty lace from Japan.

Retail prices range from $36 to $128. Toute la Nuit’s diffusion group “Ravissante” was a hit last season and has been brought back in vintage-style pink and crème cotton prints – in nine old-world styles including nighties, pj’s, and robes. Styles are trimmed in piping and contrast prints. Retail prices for this group range from $20 to $96.

“In a tough economy our buyers look for something unique and well-priced. It’s why they keep coming back to us,” Toute la Nuit founder Karen Judge said. “And more and more of them are sourcing made-in-the-USA products in response to consumer demand. Like us, they feel good about creating jobs in their own backyards.”

About Toute la Nuit Loungewear

Toute la Nuit is inspired by a need for feminine, romantic, and sophisticated sleepwear options. Founder and Creative Director Karen Judge had searched for sleepwear in luxurious fabrics that were neither overtly sexy nor matronly/frumpy. That “something in between” was disappointingly elusive and so she began to fill that niche. The collection has became known as “bed to breakfast.”

Made in the USA
Toute la Nuit garments are produced in the SOMA (South of Market) district of San Francisco, CA in close proximity to the company’s studio in the historic Dogpatch neighborhood. Toute la Nuit believes that beautiful fashion can and should be made in the USA for two reasons: 1) to support local garment manufacturing where workers are paid a fair wage in good working conditions, and 2) to reduce the carbon imprint imposed by overseas apparel manufacturing.
