Triumph Lingerie US Premiere Event Recap
International Lingerie Brand, Triumph, celebrated its its official launch in the US last night in New York City with a gorgeous multi-level event at 214 Lafayette in SoHo.
Guests were whisked back in time and taken through a visual history of lingerie from Triumph’s beginning in 1886 where they previewed archival pieces from as early as 1890 to today where the new Fall/Winter Collection was on display.
Two of the brand’s earliest archival items (from 1886 – 1910) stood out — a sports corset designed to be worn while riding on horseback and a maternity corset designed to allow for breast feeding.
Since 1886, Triumph has been globally recognized as “The Maker of Lingerie” in 120 countries housing a variety of the most successful selling bra collections of all time.
Guests at the event included Elisa Goodkind, Alix Brown, Natalie Joos, Kristen Shirley, Sophia Chabbott, Erica Blumenthal, Charles Manning and lingerie blogger Sweet Nothing of sweetnothingsnyc.com who we spotted early in the evening.
Attendees who wanted a feel for what Triumph is really like were treated to a Triumph Tailoresses who was on duty for custom lingerie fittings. Becca Diamond, Caitlin Burke, Nikki Ogunnaike, Caitlin Burke and Rachel Sutton were amongst those to experience custom lingerie fittings.
